More Movies

Well, since I don't have much that is interesting to report, we will update on some more movies. But first off we have sad news. My aunt Linda, my dad's sister has been diagnosed with lung cancer. This is her third time getting diagnosed with cancer. First it was cervical cancer, then colon cancer, and now lung cancer. She has smoked most of her life. This time though they fear that it has spread to her lymph nodes and she will not last too much longer. She does not want to have chemo or radiation treatments and as she puts it, "She has paid the piper." I don't even know what to think. I am not ready for any of this. I do not do well with death of family members or ones that I am really close to. I can't even imagine this world without her. I love her so much. Da** those stupid cancer sticks. They don't call them that for nothing.

So we have mostly watched movies on the boob tube but we did recently redbox a few movies. We got Men Who Stare at Goats, Planet 51, and Where the Wild Things Are. Planet 51 was a really cute movie. We liked it and enjoyed the humor in it. Men Who Stare At Goats was an okay movie. Nothing really that great but did have some funny parts in it. It was just a little strange to wrap your mind around that the military would ever take a psychic prospective. Where the Wild Things Are I did not get the chance to watch before we needed to return it back to the machine.

Last night I stayed up and watched a weird one for sure. It was called Buddy Boy. It is about a older gent who still lives with his alcoholic mother and her boyfriend but is obsessed with the neighbor girl. He watches her constantly through a peep hole and starts to see weird things happening. She is a vegetarian but while he is watching her she without her knowing she eats meat. It was weird for sure.

Bryan started his Census job this week and so far it has been pretty boring for him with all the training. They gave him a bag with all sorts of goodies for when he is walking around the areas doing the Census. Once this weather clears and it is nice enough they will let him go out for some on the site training and then release him to do the job in mostly his area. He is getting some good hours though and that is what we really like. He has already worked 15 hours this week which is not bad for a part time job.
We also recently have got to see an oldie but goodie lately on the satellite goodness. Donnie Darko has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. It is definately in the ten for sure. It is so strange but crazy good. It is a good one to see for those looking for a movie suggestion for a small suspense and mystery along with one crazy kid. It has Patrick Swayze in it along with Drew Barrymore even.

That's about all we have to report.
