One more thing...

ASPEN!!

She has gotten so big and is so cute. She is laughing, trying to crawl, and loves to stick her tongue out at people. She is adorable and I cannot wait for her to grow up a little more so I can be the Aunt I want to be which includes filling her full of sugar and sending her home, going to movies, and spoiling her of course.

Idaho funness again!

Well a lot has happened just in the past few weeks. The biggest news of all is Bryan and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary this past month. For 5 wonderful years I have been lucky enough to be married to the love of my life who even though we do not always see eye to eye on everything (like the fact I don't really want the treasure hunt of finding Bryan's dirty socks around the house), it has been a wonderful 5 years and I cannot wait for the rest of the years we get to spend together. I love the moments we share, the laughter we share, and of course the memories that we make together. Thanks Bryan for some of the best memories of my life.

I had my gallbladder removed on the 12th of September. The little bastard decided that it was time to leave the nest and did not want to even let me know why until he left. I do not think we will be able to keep in contact after this little ordeal. It just caused me too much pain to have him around and see him leave. I started having problems a few months ago with nausea and vomiting. After a visit to InstaCare, the emergency room, doctor's office visits, numerous blood draws (I was starting to feel like a human pin cushion), a very long scan, and a visit to the surgeon we finally determined the problem to be the gallbladder. I had the gallbladder removed and went home for a few days before coming back to school. It has been a long three weeks but I feel so much better now and have no nausea or vomiting. I am a happy girl. I have even been able to the past few nights sleep on my stomach again which was a big sacrifice of sleep on my part right after the surgery.

Because of the surgery, I was no shape to really celebrate out anniversary on the 15th like it was. I could barely sit up straight, was eating very little except to take pills, and it hurt to leave the side of the ice machine we waited until this weekend to go celebrate our anniversary. We went to Idaho for the weekend. Friday night we hung out with my cousin Rich, who is still the most hilarious person I know and have ever met. We went and had Indian food at a cute little place in Pocatello, spent some time just chattering before we headed to my Aunt Pat's house where we spent the night Friday. We got up the next morning, got a small breakfast, dropped in to say hi to Grandma before heading back to Pocatello. We then got to hang out with my other cousin Nick and his wife for a little bit while we waited until we could check into our room for Saturday night.

We ended up staying at the Black Swan Inn. It is a themed suite place that is was so cute and so fun. We got to stay in the Egyptian Suite which was so cool. It was fun and interesting to try somewhere new and a place that was so different from what are used to. It had this upstairs area where the bed was, the bathroom and tub were downstairs, and had these huge pillar statues that were holding up the television. It was so cool, I cannot emphasize how amazing it was. See the pictures below to see what I mean when I say it was over the top.

This is the view of the bed upstairs.

The tub. I loved the tub. It was huge, jetted, and the water went into the tub from the mouths of the golden cobras mouths.

We were pretty impressed with the room. After we checked in an I took a nap while Bryan watched t.v., we then met up with Nick and Andrea again to go watch Andrea play a 'bout with her roller derby team. It was fun to see her play again and she did really amazing. She is so tough and looking at her you would not think she could do what she does. She is amazing!

Since Bryan and I did want time to ourselves, we ended up going to dinner alone with one another and we found this good little Italian place called Buddy's that was kiddy corner to our place. It was a good place that served kind of family style Italian. We really enjoyed it and got happily full.

We got up the next morning and headed back after having a delicious breakfast at Nick and Andrea's house. Bryan came back with me to Logan and met all of my room mates for the first time. It was fun to get to relax and just hang out with my hubby in Logan. I rarely have him there with me and it was wonderful to get to spend more time with him since going to school in Logan has really put a damper on our time spent together.

When I was home last weekend though we did get to go see a movie. Bryan went for his nightly run (preparing for the academy) and when he got back he was full of energy and wanted to see a movie. So we went and saw End of Watch. It was a really good movie the only thing I did not like is that some of the camera angles being first person view made me and Bryan a little dizzy at times. Other than that the movie was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. It is a good one just the language is a little strong for those that are sensitive to foul language.

All in all a good weekend and I am starting to feel like my old self again. I love life right now just to survive the next month. It will be a busy one at school with tests, papers, and presentations all due this month.
