Another update

Well, since I am supposed to be studying for my exam on Friday in Animal Anatomy and Physiology right now, naturally I am looking for anything else to do.

Bryan and I are doing good. We are ready for the semester to be over with. I cannot wait to be able to stay home during the week and not have to drive back and forth. Also to get to see Bryan again all the time. It will be great. And not that Bryan has not been trying to keep the house up, he has, I cannot wait to get some time just to get it back up to Brittney code. He tries so hard during the week and he tries to keep it picked up but with homework, work, and needing to sleep it is not so easy to find a few hours to clean each week. He has done a good job though and I am proud of him because I do not have to fight for his help on the weekends anymore. This last weekend on Saturday we took a full load to the dumps (still have a nice pile from the fence we tore down) and cleaned out the computer room closet. We got rid of a lot of stuff which is great because normally Bryan is such a pack rat and it is hard to get him to throw old things away. We had fun going through all our old things and getting to make the room look better.Well, the corner the closet is in. The rest of the house turned disaster though. Gotta love spring cleaning.

Well, my sister is getting closer and closer to having Aspen. I am so excited to be an aunt and it will be so great to see my sister go into mom mode. I am just hoping and praying that she does not come early. My last final is May 2nd and I get to come home the same day. Well my sister due date is May 3rd. As long as she comes on schedule or after I will be happy. Finals week is not a good time to be driving to the hospital and back to take tests.

Speaking of tests. I have a test every week until the end of the semester. Test this Friday, next Wednesday, two practical test on the 23rd and 24th, then three finals the week of April 30th. I cannot wait to be done with the stress of studying. I am hoping to get to do an internship in Blackfoot, ID with a vet up there. He is in charge of checking some dairy farms up there and that is perfect because I really want to specialize in bovine sciences. Did I mention I got to castrate a lamb using my teeth? Yeah I did that. Dominate that. It is a preferred method of castration since it is less painful and less bleeding occurs when done the teeth way. I have learned so much about horses and sheep this year. It has been a good year. I am a little sad about next fall though. My classes are so boring and not very interesting in my opinion. But I only have two more semesters left until I have my bachelors degree and I can apply to vet school.

This Saturday I get to go to a sheep ranch in Wyoming and do breeding soundness exams on a bunch of rams. There is some 85 students going. It will be a long day though. We have to meet at the farm at 5:15 am and we will not be back until around 8:30 pm. It is going to be fun work but at the same time exhausting too. I will at least get to see Bryan Saturday night.

Well I really should get back to studying. Go Animal metabolisms, hormones, defense mechanisms, and reproduction.
